Welcome!Mainland Girls Lacrosse is entering our fifth season of excitement. The team finished last season with a 6 - 8 overall record and 5 - 5 respectively within the Cape Atlantic conference. Mainland Girls lacrosse enjoyed many battles throughout the season and lost five games during the 2008 season by two goals or less. Mainland's biggest win of the season came against Ocean City in a 10-8 victory. Mainland also experienced it's first player scoring 100 goals in her career. Kelly Klever scored her 100th goal versus Rancocas Valley and finished her career with 107 goals in only 43 Varsity games! Kelly is the third Mainland player to be continuing her lacrosse career into college. Kelly (West Chester University) joins classmate Becky Ritter (Muhlenberg University) and Jen Bradway, 2007 MRHS graduate, (University of Delaware). This season the Mustangs are young and strong, returning top Cape Atlantic Players in Erin Coulter (Cape Atlantic League First Team, Defense, 2007, 2006), Coby Briglia (Cape Atlantic League Second Team, Midfield, 2007) and Tess McLaughlin (Honorable Mention, Midfield, 2007). Many experienced players are also returning to lead the way: Brooke Thomas, Jennie Karp, Ashlynn Crook, and Jen Thompson. Mainland Regional is located in Linwood, NJ between Ocean City and Atlantic City, respectively.
Varsity and J. V. lacrosse games are played at the school site located off of New Road. Bus access to the field is directly through the school parking lot, off of Oak Avenue or from New Road (Rt 9).
