The Mainland Channel was established in 1995. The channel is shared by the Public Schools and City Governments of Linwood, Northfield and Somers Point. Channel 2 is a Public Educational Governmental Access Channel (PEG).
The purpose of the channel is to educate and inform the three communities. The channel is maintained by Mainland Regional High School. The students of the Advanced Media Production class produce all programming on The Mainland Channel. |

| "The Stang" WMRH-LP 101.7 FM |
| The Federal Communications Commission granted Mainland Regional High School a Low Powered FM Radio License in 2004. In the fall of 2006, WMRH-LP The Stang broadcasted Bruce Springsteen’s “Born To Run” as its’ first song. The station is regulated to 100 watts and transmits in a 10 mile radius of Mainland Regional. Students DJ and create various commercials and announcements for the radio station. The Stang offers a variety of music, with each day featuring a specific genre. Daily playlist includes Alternative, College, Current Hits and Rock music. In the future, 101.7 hopes to offer live broadcasts of sporting events held at MRHS. |
